TITLE Vidyadharanitiratnagranthasya karmavishleshanam
ABSTRACT The Vidyādharaṇītiratnagraṇtha is an important Sanskrit text that integrates philosophical, literary, and ethical dimensions of classical Indian thought. This study, titled “Vidyādharaṇītiratnagraṇthasya Karmaviśleṣaṇam”, undertakes a systematic analysis of the concept of karma as presented in the work. By examining both the textual structure and the contextual references, the research highlights how the grantha interprets the relationship between action (karma), duty (dharma), and consequence (phala). The analysis brings out the significance of ritualistic, moral, and spiritual actions in shaping human destiny and societal harmony. Furthermore, it investigates the didactic purpose of the text, showing how the author employs narrative and philosophical discourse to instruct the reader on the principles of righteous conduct. The comparative approach adopted in the study situates the work within the broader framework of Sanskrit literature and dharmaśāstra traditions, thereby illuminating its unique contribution to Indian intellectual history. The findings underscore that the Vidyādharaṇītiratnagraṇtha not only reinforces the classical understanding of karma but also provides practical insights for ethical living, making it relevant even in the contemporary context.
